Personal Story
Becoming a Children’s Book Author
My journey and the deep passion that has led me to become a children's book author is one that I am happy to share. My path is both inspired and fueled by my love for children's literacy and the profound connections it fosters.
From the earliest days, some of my fondest memories are of reading to my child and my students. There is something magical about sharing a story with young minds, watching their worlds expand with each page turned. These moments are not just about reading but are gateways to deep, meaningful conversations about life's complex themes. Topics that sometimes seem out of reach for little ones can be gently explored through the power of storytelling, making the intricate simple and understandable.
My dedication to children's literature is rooted in these experiences and the belief in the transformative power of books. They are not merely tools for learning but vehicles that transport young readers into realms of empathy, understanding, and emotional growth. Through my writing, I strive to craft stories that not only entertain but also teach valuable lessons in social and emotional skills, encouraging children to navigate their feelings and relationships with confidence.
This commitment to nurturing young minds through literature has guided my career. Each story I write is an opportunity to touch the heart of a child, to spark curiosity, and to initiate conversations that help them grow into thoughtful, compassionate individuals.
Thank you for taking the time to read about my journey and the motivations behind my work. I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the rich tapestry of children's literature, hoping to inspire and educate with every story I tell.
Warm regards,

With guidance from Miss Moe, the school counselor, a lesson in "I feel" statements helps spark a heartfelt conversation, leading to Robbie’s realization, apology, and a promise to change.
